Bruce Brown acquired his B.A. in Theater and Dramatic Literature through The Claremont Colleges' Fine Arts Department. He also carries a Masters in Secondary Education, as well as a California teaching credential. He was the head of the Drama Department, as well as an English teacher, at Pomona High School in Pomona, California. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, to pursue acting "full-time," Bruce attended the Ruskin School for Acting in Santa Monica, California to study Meisner.
Bruce has trained in the martial arts since the age of twelve and was a letterman on his high school wrestling team. He is the son of New Orleans natives, Bruce Gerard Brown, Sr. and singer Cynthia Brown.Bruce worked two sessions for the Seeds of Peace organization in Otisfield, Maine.He is nearly fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and claims to be "Quase Brasileiro"He was senior class president and homecoming king at Claremont High School in CaliforniaWas a Watson Fellowship nominee for Pitzer CollegeWas a stand-in for Flex Alexander on UPN's "One on One" for three seasons and co-starred in an episode with fellow Claremont Colleges Alumn, Kelly Perine.
